any ideas where i could find a cloak to go over a thobe? ![]() Ask a Moroccan brother in your area for details. They look similar to these (prices are sorta ridiculous, better to get them from overseas): http://www.shukronline.com/hoods.html |

I agree; it looks kind of strange, especially with shorter ones that end at the waist, because the lower half of the thawb tends to balloon out when the cardigan is buttoned/zipped. If you could find a longer cloak or something like that, it would go better. But with a white thawb, a darker color, like green, brown, black, grey, etc. would look good. I wouldn't pair white with a light color. That way the thawb doesn't sort of appear to balloon out at the bottom because of the sweater's tightness. |

The closest resemblance to a cloak is a Moroccan style jallabiyyah. It's got the hood and everything. Put that on over a thawb and you'd be looking like Obi Wan Wanobi. |
