My sister may be doing hajj this year inshallah.
I've heard some sisters taking some type of medication to keep them from having a period/menstruation during the hajj season, so that they can do all the ibadats at the time they occur without any hindrance. What "medication" is this? |

Taking pills to delay a menstruation is permissibale but not alway a good idea. It does not always prevent spotting which will still hold the ruling of menstruation and for most women, will cause more pain than gain. The medication is called norethisterone. In the UK, its can be prescribed by a doctor.
