(1) That translation in the Urdu meaning thread was sort of alright.
(2) In the context of the above post - we expect that any reasonable person should accept the truth when it is presented to him. But is it reasonable to assume that everybody is reasonable? Empirically the answer is no because people do behave unreasonably. They have been give the choice to behave according to their wishes. Man rises when he behaves according to the commands of Allah(SWT) but there are people who back out of that.
(3) That some people not only back out but also defend it is just the next step in the direction of disobedience.
(4) There is one more step - they try to impose their views on others.
(5) They are responsible for their actions in this world as well as the next.
(6) On our part - it is difficult enough to take care of our own acts of obedience. To defend against the assertions of deviants is of course additional work.
