That's ok. The Qur'an does not mention many things. It does however say this, "He created you from one being, then from that (being) He made its mate;...." Surah Zumar. The hadith does the rest.

This hadith is so key in understanding Dawa with women. Don't try to straighten it nor leave it alone but treat them kindly. Its depressing to me that Muslims, including me in my early much ignoramus born again years, somehow from somewhere obtained this mentality of quick blaming the women in a manner of labelling them with evil presumptive notions, on seeing some little evil or mistake coming from them.
