Salaam, i recall reading an blog entry in where one maulaba was encouraging all to save their works on digital harddrive. My question, if somethibng isnt tangible would people pay less respect/less revereance to it (Consciously or unconsciously). Should the works of the Ulema be preserved in a ebook format ? would this be problematic as people tend to pick up a book to read, and in this ebook manner it cant be done. Any words, viewpoints regarding ebooks?

Brother its like barking up the wrong tree! We suggested that even websites (ebooks- equrans etc. ) must carry a certificate from some BODY of Ulama specifically chosen for this task. That way the Ummah will not wallow into the abyss of the unknown and every tom **** and harry claim to be a Mufti.... BUT NOOO.... who notices and who cares........... Mods here are only interested in chopping threads and keeping control.... oooo!!! |

You do not automatically become disrespectful of the content of a book written by a Sheikh just because it has been converted into digital format. Wallaahu A'lam. ![]() |
