1) if i miss the Juma prayers due to work,can i say the Zuhur Prayers later.Will this zuhur be considered as qaza?

2) Aqueeqah- is it SUNAT or WAJIB(Hanafi School)

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

1) At the outset, it is important to understand that it is a major sin to miss the Jummah Salaah without a valid reason. However, in the event of one missing the Jummah, he will make Qadha of Zuhr Salaah.

2) It is Mustahab (preferable) to offer Aqeeqah (Fataawa Mahmoodiyya Vol.11 Page 453).

Ibn Umar (raa) and Abu Huraira (raa) report that the Prophet (saws) said:
‘People should refrain from missing Juma prayers, or otherwise Allah will seal their hearts and they will become from the neglectful ones.’ (Sahih Muslim, Book of Juma, Hadith no. 1432).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that if a person misses this important prayer, then he should give Sadaqa of one Dinar (Sunan Ibn Maja, Hadith no. 1118).
