Asalamu Aleikum - i want to ask - if one wants to give reward of good deeds such as , praying namaz, then doing dhikr , Tilawat of Quran / can one send the reward of these good deeds to a person alive - like your parents , siblings , relatives , and Whole ummah ? i know one can give Eesal e sawab to Dead but what about alive ? and if one gives the reward to someone will he get the reward also or his good deeds will be removed from him and only to whom reward is given he shall receive the reward ?

ok so it means after praying namaz , and doing dhikr and reciting Quran i can give sawaab to Parents and whole ummah and the person who the sawab is being sent to. inshaALLAH t3ala. |

You can either make niyyat before commencing the deed or after its done make dua or niyyat that the reward be conveyed to the soul of so and so.
I think Ulama have difference of opinion about the amount of reward like if you send to 3 people do all 3 get the same or does it get divided into 3 parts and each gets a part of it - but I think the the strong opinion Ulama hold is that all 3 would get the same reward and the person sending would also keep his reward in full. I remember reading this somewhere but it was a long time ago I forgot where I read it. |
