 Allah humma or rabbana ?
When im reading namaz...
after DUROOD-E-IBRAAHEEMI I Read this dua: "Allah Humma Rabbana Aatina Fid Dunya Hasanah Wa Fil Akhirate Hasanah Wa Qina Azaban Naar." Do we say Allah Humma or Start with Rabbana? |

Assalam alaykum
The dua you mentioned is of a ayah of Al Qu'ran Al kareem, number 201 in Surah Al Baqarah. In the ayah, allahuma is not present but only 'rabbana'. Wa Allahu ahlem |

 Some Žulama considered it recommended to add "Allahumma" when reciting this Qur'anic duŽa in Salah; others did not see that as recommended. wa'Allahu aŽlam. |

I was under the impression that adding "allahumma" is to enable duas which are ayat of the quran to be recited in sujud, because otherwise we are not supposed to recite quran in sajdah (Hanafis, at least). |

Actually, after namaaz I also read the very same dua and I say it in the exact way in which you have written it in. I say 'Allahuma' and 'Rabbana'

I say 2 Rabbena duas: Rabbenâ âtina fiddünyâ haseneten ve filâhirati haseneten ve kınâ azâbennâr and Rabbenâğfirlî ve li-vâlideyye ve lil-Mü'minine yevme yekûmü'l hisâb.
