I've travelled around the world even tho i'm still a teenager, and when i went to the arab cities such as Ajman, or Abu dhabi, or any muslim country i noticed it is a much easier living then here abroad, the atmosphere, the people, the language and the religion of such cities are great, don't get me wrong i ain't that kinda guy who says he wants to do jihad (god forbid), i am in no shape or form to fight any kind of war, exept me trying to be a peaceful muslim, So i plan to go to San'a, and then from there take a bus to Shibam, has anyone been there before?, My ancestor lived and studied and preached in Shibam , and so i should go there too, i'm just attracted to such areas of historicalness, might aswell get myself a jambiya too

He means he doesn't want to join the government pawns of Yemen, otherwise known as AQAP. If he wanted to make it clear he doesn't have intention to join AQAP since he deems them (rightly or wrongly) not working on Islamic parameters, he could at least have used inverted commas before and after that noble word ("..."), instead of bad mouthing the pinnacle of Islam and talking of those who have such noble intention as if it was something bad, a'udhubillah. |

suleimanbinsalim you might want to look closer to home to see government pawns...radical middle way, tabah foundation etc. Umar Italy jazakallah khairan for your response. I thought I was the only person who felt perturbed at the mocking of the noble deed. You know the amazing thing is the likes of AQAP are labelled as government pawns but the very same people who propagate this message tell us to smile and give dawah to bush. It was funny to hear the response of one shaykh. When he was asked about Usama bin laden his face was seething with rage but when asked about george bush his anger subsided....what kind of islam is this?
