i have saved so many islamic and other e-books on my laptop over a long period of time.

most of the books are in pdf format.

as you guys know staring at a screen over a long period can cause sore eyes, eye strain and headaches.

i want to buy a device to read these books.

what do you guys recommend?

what are your experiences of the various devices out there?


some options could be:

- kindle dx - big screen using e ink
- kindle 3, kobo e reader - smaller screen and uses e ink
- laptop - what i currently use
- tablet - thought about buying cheap 7" or 10" tablet

i tried to read pdf in Ipod and Android cell phones but reading in those devices was just headache -- try ipad -- i think laptop is best
