Sw. Ikhtelaaf is a mercy from Allah You should respect anothers point of view at all times even when you disagree. Another point is to not make such a big deal out of the past. We believe in Qadr, and what Allah has decreed is the ultimate bottom line. In stead of fretting about what people should have done or didn't do we should be more encouraging. Brother Numaan suffered quite the ordeal and him assessing the situation before making a complaint speaks volumes of his character. May Allah reward him for his Sabr, Ameen. |

Most of the airport have a dedicated masjid/prayer room. Its better to offer salaah over there. I had used the masjid @hongkong , bangkok airport.
But on certain ocassion bcoz of time constraint it becomes difficult to go and offer salaah in those demarced area. Even if communist country like china has no objection then why does the so-called liberal french doesn't allow the basic freedom. |

![]() Sorry guys for making a fuss outta this. The thing I forgot to mention is that the salah room IS there, but I found only one in each terminal which is still great. The thing is, it wasn't my fault cause the person I asked, she didn't tell me that there was a salah room. Secondly, I'm a hot head, and get angry at small things. Trust me, I was looking for the complaint office, but something just said to me 'Remember Taif'. I was stumped because see: 1. Rasullah (SAW) was bani hashim. If he complained to bani hashim, they'd wage war with taif. 2. Rasullah (SAW) showed patience when being rejected. 3.(BIGGEST POINT) Rasullah (SAW) had Allah, the lord of the seven heavens and the seven skies, to complain, but he made dua instead. I know I am no where near Rasullah (SAW), heck I didn't even feel that small fragment of that huge pain that rasullah felt. But this incident only made my love for the Rasul and his concern for us, valuable. According to a buzrg, this is the time where someone slaps you, you show em the other cheek. This is the time of Makkah. Inshallah the time of Madinah or as people like to call, the time of mahdi will come, till then, gotta be patient. ![]() |

brother Numaan who told you this is the makki zamana? How long will it last? Until Imam Mehdi AS? Bro man whichever buzrug said this is mistaken. Brother man see man when you are in a postion of power then you show mercy otherwise it will be seen as weakness. If you do not complain then the matter will get worse and affect other muslims. It varies from person to person. See the point is due to you not complaining it is very likely that he will continue doing it. I mean I worked in the NHS and many nurses would treat patients like dirt until they would start getting complaints and when they knew their job was in danger they started behaving themselves. I tell you what mercy is. Once some saw someone trying to rob someone and there was skip full of building materials. They picked up a few bricks and went to the guy...he stopped his robbery and apologized and said my uncle is muslim and I respect you guys.
Another time some school kids attacked a muslim guy for no reason and filmed this on their phone. Within a few minutes muslims came and chased them away...the next day they saw one guy and chased him again and he ran away....the point is the soft soft approach is good at times but our shariah has not just given the option of turning the cheek. Ask the south african brothers if they turned a cheek each time...they would be robbed on a daily basis. |

I stoped a trafic light & saw this guy pointing at me from a taxi. like warning me that I must watch it. I just looked at him & kept on to show him that Im not scared. then at the next stop he did it again. so I egnored him because it is chrismas these guys got their 13th check so he must be drunk. my son was in the car so I should rather just leave. then another trafic light then I pointed back at him & told him come he said that I must com he will show me, I just bursed laughing. besides they wouldnt be able to catch me anyway the taxi was full. guys jsut remember do not oppress & do not be oppressed. its tuff reaching the balance but you will get there one day. south african muslims faught drug dealers & gangs, I mean it was war on the streets. the police were on the side of the dealers so the muslims faught the police too. unfortunately we falling back into our comfort zone again & letting them all walk over us again. |

It was a wonderful experience.. many Muslims work at the airport and we didn't understand a word of what each other said but when it came time for salah we all relaxed ![]() |

as long as you're not a very practicing Muslim. Like I said, there's a chinese person at my work place, and if HE hadn't told me he's Muslim, no one in the office knew he is. Reason? He doesn't even know what Muslim beliefs are. Chinese economy is depenendant on exports therefore forigner's enjoys relatively more liberty. A foreigner can make prayer anywhere since he is their customer. I have got chance to visit the interior of china, it is a great "mojiza"/miracle and fazal of Allah Ta'ala that even after living in tyrannical and oppresive rule of communist there is an overwhelming population of moslems. There are local hafiz, Alims etc. The tomb of Hazrat Saad bin waqas ![]() Please take care of ur chinese colleague, teach him whatever u know. Those people are very thirsty. |
