Never heard of it. Better to recite the Quran to solve your problems instead.

Abu Sa'eed RadiyAllahu `anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said: "Almighty Allah says; "If anybody finds no time for My remembrance and for begging favors of Me, because of his remaining busy with the Qur'an, I shall give him more than what I give to all those who beg favors of Me. The superiority of the Word of Allah over all other words is like the super*iority of Allah over the entire creation." (Tirmidhi, Bayhaqi)

Tajdahu Aunalaka Finna Vaeb
Thou shalt find him a helper unto thee in thy difficulties

Kullu Hammin Va Ghammin Sayanjali

By thy Greatness O Lord

Benabooatika Ya Muhammado
By thy Apostleship O Muhammed (S.A)

Bevelayatika Ya Aliyo Ya Aliyo Ya Aliyo
By thy Authority O Ali, O Ali, O Ali!

Adriknee Adriknee Adriknee Fee Sabeel Illah
Come to my help, in the Name of Allah

Assalamu 'alaykum,

True!

A very good refutation of this shirki saying:

(Note: One shouldn't be deceived by shi'ah rafidhah and other mushrikin when they call such shirki sayings as "tawassul". This is not tawassul!)

Some people don't care as long as it seems to 'work', you know they are on a different level than us...By the way have a look at the isnad which is like a hundred years long..

I can totally believe that sufis and some sunnis (as not all sunnis are bad) listen to that because they have very poor understanding of the deen, not to mention their acceptance towards deviated people (particularly shi'as) hence their falling into the same deviation.

hmmm do you know there are actually sunni sufis who have been made shaheed due to their speaking out against shias in recent times....i dont know of any other groups or movements against shiaism as they are

there are different types of sufis just as there are different types of salafis

Salam 'Aleykum,

It has something to do with religious education, in areas of ignorance where the people don't have access to proper scholars or books they may go after this sort of thing may Allah guide them.

This ' culture ' of saying Ya Ali has also confused me . I have heard sunni muslims say Ya Ali especially when they undertake a task that needs physical strength. They say it more as a way of motivating themselves and others.

Of course is always more common.

I guess it comes from the well known attributes of Hazrat Ali
Hazrat Ali being known for his bravery and strength physical and spiritual.

Sometimes I wonder if 'Umar (ra) somehow appeared in this day and age, would he even be able to recognize Islam as it is being practiced in many parts of the Muslim world?
