Default hadith: The dajjal will have food and it will be better to starve?
the hadith tells us that the dajjal will come with something that looks like hell but is really paradise

so...
does that justify that we can starve ourselves if the only way is through harram means

some say its a sin to starve if pork is available

but this hadith tells us that it is better to eat roots until one dies then to eat food from the dajjal

Not eating food from dajjal is an exception, not a rule.

Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Shall I not tell you about the dajjal a story of which no prophet told his nation? The dajjall is one-eyed and will bring with him what will resemble Hell and Paradise, and what he will call Paradise will be actually Hell; so I warn you (against him) as Noah warned his nation against him." (Book #55, Hadith #554)

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba: Nobody asked the Prophet as many questions as I asked regarding Ad-dajjal. The Prophet said to me, "What worries you about him?" I said, "Because the people say that he will have a mountain of bread and a river of water with him (i.e. he will have abundance of food and water)" The Prophet said, "Nay, he is too mean to be allowed such a thing by Allah"' (but it is only to test mankind whether they believe in Allah or in Ad-dajjal.) (Book #88, Hadith #238

Sahih Muslim

Mughira b. Shu'ba reported that none else had asked more questions from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) about the dajjal than I, but he simply said in a slight mood): O, myson, why are you worried because of him? He will not harm you. I said: The people think that he would have with him rivers of water and mountains of bread, whereupon he said: He would be more insignificant in the sight of Allah than all these things (belonging to him). (Book #025, Hadith #5352)

just a thought (please take it with a 'pinch of salt') but....

maybe it will be due to things like...

it is produced with genetically modified food that uses human genes?

it is produced using proceeds of usury and/or theft?

it is produced from monstrous genetically modified chimeras (mixtures of animals/human etc)

it is produced from intensively farmed animals that suffer terribly until they are slaughtered?

it is produced from genetically modified creatures that suffer terribly due to the malformations (that will be bred into them as side effects of them being very high yielding) until they are slaughtered?

it is full of additives made from all types of haram substances?

capitalist-consumerist modern man is pretty sick in a lot of ways and when the Dajjal gets going no doubt they will sink even further into the depths of depravity.

on the other hand could it not just be because taking this food brought by the accursed Dajjal means accepting the Dajjal as overlord and rejecting Allah as a condition (may Allah protect us)?

sorry ignore most of the above, just the ramblings of a loony

real answer here
