Let me explain, Actuallly my mummy in India, Hyderabad, gathers some ladies and girls from the neighbourhood every week and she reads out from tafseer of Maududi. so I told her that it has some mistakes and its better to avoid it. so she asked me which other tafseer she can read which is simple, and in easily understandable urdu by ladies. I think Maariful Quran is more detailed and has tougher urdu (or am I wrong?). that's why I requested for more suggestions.

Try "Tafseer-e-Usmani". It is simple, and very good.

Tafseer Anwarul Bayan by Mufti Muhammad Ashiq Ilahi Buland Shahri (also transalated into english) this is the best for non alims, very simple.

Brother, get recent published 'Aasaan Tarjamaye Qur'an' by Mufti Taqi Usmani (DB). It has urdu translation and very useful short explaination. Its only 3 volumes. The printing quality is also wonderful. I bought it just before a week. Get it, hopefully it will meet ur needs
