The response to this is "Ya Ali". One of those odd South Asian mysteries.

SubhanAllah! my respect to the Sheikh.

Our barelwee brothers always go extreme and quickly attack other people. May Allah (swt) correct them and us.

And that Asrar, Is he the same person who debated Sheikh Dimashqia? That person was very rude.

When I first heard this some time ago I was really shocked I couldn't believe it. Once I went to a Barelwee Mosque during Ramazan and it was the night of Khatm Quran so these people after the taraweh prayer started chanting 'Narae Haidari: Ya Ali'. I was like 'What'?

I suppose ali is made of noor then...

the shias here have this practice of "arbain" where they commemorate Imam Husayn's (ra) martyrdom on the 40th day after ashura. this year a local brelwi imam joined in the festivities (i dont believe there was any self mutilation). but interesting that some brelwis resemble shias in that regard

The 'Ala Hadrath of the Barelwis was a Rafidi. I would recommend listening to Allamah Zia ur Rehman Faooqi Shahid's lecture on ARK

I doubt that very much, I think he was a great scholar who became overzealous and perhaps disingenuous in the way he targeted the elders of deoband. but i wouldn't go further than that.

Nice how the "gustakh e rasul"s have akhlaq and surah (appearance) of Rasulullah (saw), and how the "aashiq e rasul"s display filthy akhlaq and look nothing like Nabi Kareem (saw).

It's quite sad how they disrupted the event, and I felt sorry for the organisers especially when he was trying to resume the event by asking the question about selling drugs to non-Muslims.

Murtaza Khan showed a lot of hikmah and ikhlas, may Allah increase him in these, and guide those ignorant kids.

Salaam brothers and sisters
Last night, sheikh Murtaza Khan gave a talk in Birmingham (which is the headquarters of these barelwis in the video and Asrar Rashid and thugs, who constantly challenges him) about tawassul, most likely as an attempt to indirectly tell the barelwis something. Was anybody there? I bet a lot of Asrar Rashid's boys were there listening, and inshallah they must have learnt something.

I think that talk yesterday was the same day that was set by Asrar Rashid when he challenged Murtaza Khan to a debate. So instead of accepting (because that may cause more conflict as is evident with the previous people who accepted his talks such as Shaikh Dimishqiya) and instead of completely letting them feel as if they are the superior group (which will be bad), why not do a talk on it in their own area?

So true.

Tasawwuf without Shar'iah leads to satanism. Shari'ah without Tasawwuf leads to darkness.
