In this thread i found that we should follow sabaha r.a. and imam's as well. Brother I can quote you a Hadith which shows two groups of Sahaba followed interpreted a command of Rasoolullah in two opposite ways. But Rasoolullah allowed both of the interpretation. Similarly there are many things in Islam that are clearly allowed within the boundaries. Best example is Salah, there is irrefutable evidence that our beloved Rasoolullah has performed Salah in many different ways. All those ways are permissible. Simlarly there are 7 ways to recite the Quran. Allah Ta'ala has revealed the Quran in 7 different Qirats through Jibreel (as) to Rasoolullah . If one argues there is only one way to recite the Quran then it is due to his lack of knowledge. It is evident that laymen like us lack in knowledge so we should ask the people of knowledge as mentioned in the Quran: "So ask the People of Knowledge if you do not know" (Qur'an:21:7) Here is the hadith I mentioned in the first sentence: Sahih Bukhari Chapter 18 904. It is related that Ibn 'Umar said, "When the Prophet. may Allah bless him and grant him peace, returned to us from the Battle of the Parties (Ahzab), he said, 'No one should pray 'Asr before they get to Banu Qurayza. For some of them 'Asr became due on the way. Some people said, 'We will not pray until we get there.' Others said, 'No, we should do the prayer. That was not what he meant.' This was mentioned to the Prophet and he did not rebuke any of them." [This is the Battle of the Ditch.] |

In this thread i found that we should follow sabaha r.a. and imam's as well. brother, in many instances, your threads/posts implied that you are totally confused (no offense intended). Mere slogans wont help you with anything. This is what happens when you try to take things into your own hands. stick to an authentic mufti to clear your doubts. If you can let us know your location you will be guided to a proper source to clear your doubts. |
