Default Hypocrisy of secularists/liberalists
We keep seeing how secularists and liberalists keep championing themsleves as adherent of freedom and free expression and equal rights. Yet see how they are nothing but closet totalitarians wanting to impose their way of life upon then rest.

http://en.qantara.de/When-States-Leg...500/index.html

They oppose muslims practicing shariah law for themselves because it doesnt fit their own liberal ideas. So they want their liberal hegemony over what a Muslim should do and should not do.

Obviously these people will not like Sharia Law in their countries for us Muslims... it poses a serious threat to their whole set up. For one Non Muslims would see the reality of the Sharia and not use the same old arguments every day.

You have to remember secular laws change with social pressure and morals of that time, so in reality there are only a handful of laws which would survive through all times, the rest will, do and have changed. In Germany under Hitler social pressures would state that the "Aryan race" is the most supreme and therefore going by secular laws it was OK to kill Jews etc then, because it was the norm way of thinking in Germany.

In 50 years who knows what the secular world will allow, but it will change and so will the morals. The Sharia is a set of laws for ALL TIMES. It does not change, it was miles from its time when Allah sent it down to the Messenger (pbuh) and to this day it would solve every single problem on this earth if followed correctly.

1. The secular allows, the banks and corporations to run the country and uses interest to enslave the citizens yet they state "we care for our people" - Interest is forbidden in Islam, so this would not happen. And so many millions would be saved from debt for life.

2. The secular allows open selling of alcohol and that causes thousands of deaths a year in the UK alone. Alcohol consumption is forbidden in Islam, so many thousands would be saved.

3. It allows dating at the age of 12 but no marriage until 16. This makes no sense, in Islam if the woman and man consent they may marry when they like and consummate the marriage only after puberty, which is different for people. In the UK, they allow dating at 12, but do not allow sex until 16... How do they expect that to work? If you allow for such young kids to "date" they are going to do everything regardless of the law.

4. The UK has a very high early teen pregnancy rate where the child grows up without a father. This goes from the previous point... if you allow such young people to date they are going to have sex and this leads to pregnancies and this leads to the young boy leaving the girl and the child is brought up without a father. It is a domino affect. One evil will cause many problems. In Islam we are saved from this, we may marry as long as there is consent and this bond is stronger and should allow for a child to have both a father and a mother and if they do divorce, Islam states that the boy/man MUST provide for the child and for the woman/girl for a certain time.

5. The secular can go to war with any country for whatever reason under the guise of "we are here to help" and not account for murder and war crimes because the laws just change to their whims. In Islam you cannot go to war when you feel like it, there are very strict precautions. We cannot kill children, women, unarmed men, cut down trees, kill animals, burn things, destroy whole towns... we are allowed to fight for self defence or to stop an evil. In Islam all this mass murdering done by the west would not occur.

6. In the UK, people slander women non stop and there is no punishment for dishonouring a woman. In Islam slandering and dishonouring a woman without evidence is punishable by lashes. The slandering of innocent women would stop.

This is the secular world... they shout on about "freedom" and "liberty", firstly there is no freedom in reality, secondly even if there was this does not help anyone... if you give irresponsible freedom to do what they like they will ruin their own and other peoples lives. The reason there is a government in the first place is because people do not run riot on everyone and everything... In Islam we have true freedom... we answer to the Almighty alone... if we disobey any of the laws we are punished... if we do not disobey and live a harmless life, no one can harm us and we have the freedom to do what we like. This includes Non-Muslims living under the Sharia.

The point is the Sharia would destroy their whole foundation of corruption and enslavement... Sharia would bring justice and of course they do not want Sharia for anyone as it goes against their own agendas.

Salam

the elephant in the corner is the question: WHOSE sharia law should be imposed on everyone else?

The moderates seem to to opposing the ultra extremist views of the wahabis, propagated through their petro-dollars.

brother Saqqib in the eyes of the kuffar the wahabis are not extremist because they are wahabis and believe in muhammad bin abdul wahab etc. They view wahabis as extremists due to the fact that they call towards hijab and niqab, grow beards, believe in hudood and are against secularism etc. The question of whose sharia law is a simple one. The 4 schools of thought....

why do you bring your sectarian hatred into every sane discussion?it is people like you who are gnawing away at whatever work people do to bring the ummah closer together as a one unit. you have little knowledge and yet you feel as if your hatred and bias is justified. neither you have any constructive thing to say. had you read what scholars of islam actually say about imposition of shariah law you would not have asked a question such as WHOSE shariah law which has a very obvious answer.

and no modernists dont oppose the ultra extremist najdi views only (ultra extremist to you actually) but also hanafi madhab and its implementation of shariah. so another opportunity for you to create hatred in the hearts of people for the najdis has gone down the drain im afraid.

please read more in sha Allah
