Mamati ceased to be Deobandi since the Shaykh joined the Salafis? Just search for "Hayati mamati" on this forum and you will find out many hardcore Mamatis here as well , Colonel_hardstone happens to be one though he does not like labeling himself a mamati Deobandi. Shaykh Abdul Hay Lukhnavi Deobandi also happened to be a mamati ie who believes that Sayyidna Muhammad sws is alive in Barzakh not in his grave in Madina , unlike the hayati Deobandis who believe that Sayyidna Muhammad sws is alive in his grave as he was alive in this world and he hears the Sallam which is offered at his grave by himself and responds back.
As far as I know, br. Colonel Hardstone is not a Mamati. Allamah Abdul Hay Lucknawi was not a Deobandi, and I believe the Mamati issue didn't even exist during his lifetime.

Dr.ati, can you provide proof to your claims that Mawlana Manzoor Numani, Allama Abdul Hayy Lucknawi and Colonel Hardstone are Mamatis? It would be good if Colonel Hardstone himself confirmed/refuted Dr.ati's claim....

So what makes him a full-blown Salafi?
prays while hand on his chest, 3 talaq at once is 1 talaq, touches feet towards his next person

Though colonel won't be interested in labeling himself a Mamati but you can read about his stance regarding the life of Sayyidna Muhammad sws after death here , which is in line with the mamatis > http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...sufi-justified

For Maulana Younis Naumani Sahib ( I typed it Manzoor Naumani by error) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmfNq...eature=related

For Abdul Hay luKnavi rahimahullah , there is a thread on SF titled as "Was Imam Abdul Hayy Lucknawi a Hayati or Mamati ?". I hope there are references on that thread or i will have to search for it myself then.

Is askimam.org/mufti desai hayati?

http://www.askimam.org/fatwa/fatwa.p...53f9380f39b7d9

After my long year expereinces, i can say mamatis are obviously not deobandis. they are offshoot of salafis.
Mufti Ibrahim Desai Sahib too has been inconsistent on this issue. Seems that earlier he used to favor mamati position and then switched to the Hayati side. http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...-Ebrahim-Desai

It seems you do not know much about the hayati or mamati issue. Better to stay out of it since your posts show how ignorant your are. Its a lafzi difference. The word dunyawiyya can be used differently. If used in the sense that Nabi can hear and see, nobody disagrees, if used in the sense of literally walking around in this world, and if you would dig up his grave, you would see him literally alive, then this wrong. Or in the sense of eating and relieving oneself etc., then this is also wrong.

Some of the extreme mamatis claim nabi can't hear the one at his grave, or says there is no connection between soul and body, and this the real point of difference.

The underlined is the only and real point of difference and rest is your trivial lip service to dilute the issue. Have you monopolized it so that i should stay out of "it" ?

Calling Mufti Desai a so-called mamati shows how ignorant you are about the issue. Next time only quote scholars who have dealt specifically with mamatis and don't mention us your biased opinions.

Maybe this is of relevance (cutting it short) Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah was aked:

وسئل رحمه الله هل الميت يسمع كلام زائره

The Shaykh replied:

فأجاب : الحمد لله رب العالمين نعم يسمع الميت في الجملة كما ثبت في الصحيحين عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال : { يسمع خفق نعالهم حين يولون عنه }

(You can Read the Full Q&A here) مجموع فتاوى ابن تيمية
http://www.islamweb.net/newlibrary/d..._no=22&ID=3160

Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah a Hayati?

It obvious that even the slightest justifiable criticism sparks the current of personal attacks from you people but where have i said that Mufti Desai is a Mamati ? Does saying that "Seems that earlier he used to favor mamati position" equate "Mufti Desai is Mamati"? And if your triviality is right then why did Mufti Desai remove the old Fatwa?

.

And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah , "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 002:154 .

Your making assumptions, if Mufti Sahib did give an updated fatwa maybe that was because he thought he needed to clarify the previous fatwa.

Doesn't neccesarily mean he had a Qadeem and a Jadeed.

Hayaati and Barzakhi can both be used, because [1] Rasulullah is alive as bodies al-Anbiyaa do not decompose (pre-Hayaati / Mamati). [2] the realm he is in is known as al-Barzakh.

When one uses Dunywai it is only semantical because there is similarities not because they share the exact same qualities i.e. Eating, Sleeping, Bathing, Excretion etc.

I dont think you understand the subtle difference.

I'm sorry, but I can't see anything substantial from Colonel Hardstone to suggest he is a mamaati. I will let him clarify his own position, rather than relying on speculation or weak deductions from his statements.

Really ? Do you know of a Mamati who calls himself a Mamati?

A.Mufti Desaid has taken a U turn.

B.The difference is not as subtle as you want to make it. http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...l=1#post633905

Yaar Dr Saheb,

I think that you will get me beat up :- ) I am getting emails about my Aqeedah left, right and center.

I don’t have time to visit and post on this forum but a long time ago someone brought this to my attention and I ignored it.

Now someone much beloved to me has pointed this out to me and FORCED me to get my password reset, logon and to respond. I have no idea what in the world a “Mamati” actually is and the more I read or watch or listen the more confused I get; I think that it’s some sort of tittle-tattle in Pakistan.

Anyways I am no one important to have to justify my Aqeedah, nevertheless it has been on the web-site for over 10 years, same Aqeedah just updated (text) from time to time, simply put:

  1. It is an accepted fact. Everyone agrees that Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) passed away from this earthly life.
  2. After death, the life is life of Barzakh
  3. This effect of life (Shuhada, Ambiya etc) is only in regards to Barzakh

http://central-mosque.com/index.php/...-upon-him.html

P.S: Any issues and you can email me on the site.

Yes. If you present from afar, the Angels present it to him
