This is ridiculous and the fault of the corrupt Karzai government. This is what happens when you let the invaders set your laws. People get extradited to the US for breaking laws - and not just laws regarding killing, rape, terrorism, etc.. Muslims are indefinitely imprisoned and tortured without a lawyer. This guy murders over a dozen women and children and gets a full trial as well as some psycho lawyer arguing mental health and PTSD? |

Maybe they heard that the wikileaks leaked US cables included messages that said that the Americans were not truly negotiating, but were actually trying to split elements of the Taliban away from Mulla Omar and the central Taliban figures to weaken them. I try to sort what is going on al-jazeera wrote: "It was due to their alternating and ever-changing position that the Islamic Emirate was compelled to suspend all dialogue with the Americans," a statement posted on the Taliban's website said on Thursday. It reminds me so called negotiations with Palestinians, where one party was negotianting completely different thing than other party. I dont think any speaking here has any sense here. If they leave they could come back as traders but not like invadors. I believe Afghani people have all clear in the issue. there is propaganda in news that after US leave there will start civil war in Afghanistan. It is so many years since Afghanistan was without foreign invasion (I mean now before Russians invaded country) 30 years now? w alikum assalam |

salam alikum, The Taliban themselves say that as a part of negotiations, it was decided to free some Mujahidin from the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison and that the US was dilly-dallying in typical munafiq fashion. |
