Default Let's Motivate Dr. Zakir Naik Sahab To Give Islaahi Sermons

I know Dr. Zakir Naik Sahab has lots of collection on Debates, Q & A among non-muslims and muslims , etc. but i think there are very quite few lectures of him in which he has given Islaahi sermons like how to concentrate in salah, what is the importance of acting on each and every sunnah, Importance of becoming hafiz, alim, etc., There are lakhs of Muslims around the world who are the great fans of Dr. Sahab. There are also many among my friends and relatives circle, but I have found many things in them. There are 4 people in my relatives who are greatest fan of Dr sahab but they have filled hatred feelings among themselves regarding their "OWN BLOOD". Do listening of debates and praising dr. sahab and telling see how he is reverting non-muslims ( no doubt he is doing that) will help to them to unite among themselves? No! I have one friend who is my classmate, he looks like dr. sahab, follow his way of giving speech, but one thing I found in him is that, he dont have good relation with his brother. I have not seen him talking with his own brother (who is my classmate as well). He has very calm nature Mashallah!.

What do you people say about this ^ ?

But how will you motivate? I think he is an useless guy who is only propagating Salafism i.e. misleading laymen. We need people like Hamza Tzortzis in this sector.

well .. u cant squeeze milk out of an ink bottle..

The guy is doing the work best suited for him.. and in which he has put effort.. debatable whether he is on rt or wrong.. but i guess it would be wise to leave him at that..

and why do we need him for islahi talks in the first place.. we have Hazrat Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan sahab db and many other specialists in the feild of Tazkiya and ehsan that we bother zakir naik..

ofcourse if ur very rich and have a fat cheque to offer..may be he would oblidge..

wa assalam..

Dr Sahab

Do you think salafies or people who hates tableeghies will listen to other personalities like Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Sahab ?

My aim is, at least will act on what he say if he begins to do more islaahi lectures rather than debates!

A question, do listening to debates will boost one's imaan?

Please reply ?

Salaah= Tying hands on chest
Belief= There is no compulsion in following school of thought

Is this Islah? I'm asking about Concentration In Salah, Following Sunnah?

Yes! For them that is the best Islah on the market.

Just stick with the Tablighis for learning how to concentrate in Salaah, Following Sunnah. Their approach is the most effective.

Do u think Salafees or the like minded people will ever listen to Zakir naik if he speaks on tazkiya and ehsan.. theyll probably label him a deobandi / sufi and walk out.. ( just like the christians of heraclius court..)

people come to him to watch a verbal duel.. and if u dont know then most of those who asks questions there are already planted.. this i tell u from a relative at whoz place zakir naik stops over sometimes.. so if zakir naik doesnt deliver what they want to hear.. then move over .. theyll look for somebody else.. i dont think zakir naik wants to risk all that..

Imam Ghazzali made three pledges while in shaam..

1) That he shall not debate..

2) That He shall not visit grandees..

3) That he shall no recieve any presents from the king..

debating ofcourse has its harms.. our akabir like Hazrat Thanwi gave it up at the beginning of his career..

and Plz dont make this a debate..

duas..

wa assalam..

I'm talking about those people who loves zakir naik, as far as my case, why should I listen him?

If people like us(laymen) can give lectures among people (in locally or in jamaat) then why not he cant give? Yes muslims (zakir naiks fans) are getting wonderful tips to give answer to non muslims, but there inner heart is not connected with allah.

Lets just leave Dr.Zakir Naik at the side and look at the bigger picture for a moment.
The salaf were masters at all aspects of deen whilst we are not. Now although this does not give us the green light to just stick with one thing but what we should do is respect people that they cannot do everything.

Reminds me of an incident a few years ago at college when a guy, very good at oratory and trained and active in IRF activities (zakir naiks org) and me participated in a general debate. To challenge a statement I made he quoted some book (page no. para no. kind of zakir naik style) and presented his counter argument. Whatever the content was, that "book quoting style" impressed everyone a lot.

After the debate, when I asked him how he could remember the pages of some remote book, he laughed off saying he just said it to impress. It left a really bad taste and worry at what deen will this guy present in front of others when there is no bother about committing a big sin, at all - for some petty impressions!?

^ Aqeedah does not have anything to do with Fiqh.

There are Athari Hanafis on this very forum.

Assalamu alaykum

I understand the question and answer session in zakir naik is also pre-scripted. Questioners are installed.

I was just imagining he is giving Islahi Sermon on concentration of Salah and he is representing verses from quran like this...
Allah says in the holy quran chapter no. 23 verses no. 1, 2, 3,4................ so my dear brothers we should have to make our salah perfect so that we can make allah happy....
Doesn't this sound good?

Wow! for those people who are telling lets leave him to his job, then okay fine.

My aim of making thread is completely different.

Who wrote that zakir naik should speak on tazkiya? Is giving lectures on Islaahi stuffs wrong?

BTW did anyone listened him telling about the importance of Sunnah?

At-least he can give right verses not like me or my some tableeghi bros.

Strange! we can support laymen to do lecture but not Zakir N. ?
*confused*
