Aslamo Alikum,
Dear All, Quran tells us that it is the duty of Godly People (Dervish) and Religious Scholars to forbid other people from doing bad deeds and eating harram. If such people are not stopping others from doing bad deeds and eating harram, then they are equally bad in the sight of God. Reference: Why do the rabbis and religious scholars not forbid them from saying what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful? How wretched is what they have been practicing.
