Assalaamu'alaikum wr wb,

Dr Akhtar Aziz Sahab, one of the senior most tableeghi elders of Hyderabad, is no more in this faani abode. He was a source of inspiration and support to hundreds of tablighis around the world hailing from Hyderabad. Dr Sahab's work among students and professionals was particularly exceptional. How can one explain the lifetime of a giant who spent away his life (one of the rare cases where, even in his frail 80s, dr sahab was still active in khurooj and local work - sometimes on wheelchair) in this noble work, in a few words? impossible.

May Allah swt elevate his ranks manifold in the hereafter...aameen!

Did he have the suhba of Hadrat Mawlana Yusuf

Yes, I will inshAllah report in a bit more of detail, if I end up meeting an elder saathi, who was one of dr sahab's close khidmatguzaar.

Allah reward him well and grant him a high rank in Jannah.

Did he have the suhba of Hadrat Mawlana Yusuf ?

Its a great loss for the people of Hyderabad. Dr. sahab was such a great inspiration to us all and he was the one who had steered the work of tabligh among students in different Engineering and Medicine colleges in the city. I had the honour to meet and know him personally. It is a pity that I didn't get to meet him when I visited India in recent years.

May Allah grant him a high abode in Jannatul firdous. Ameen, thumma Ameen.
