brother, this is a valid question. Non Muslims have been using these out of context verses to attack the aqeedah of the Muslims. Answering Islam site has one article that i know of trying to manipulate these verses with their out of context translations. Thanks to brother ahamed_sharif for taking the time to explain it.

God uses the word makr twice - once to refer to the evil plans that criminals make, and then to Allah's own response.

one word can have two different meanings in the same sentence, and that is how we take the sentnce.

eg. they built a bank on the bank of the river. (building / side of river)
eg2. all the characters in the play had seven characters in his name. (person in a play / letter)

thus, "wa makaru wa makara allah wallahu kharul makireen" and other similar sentences mean "they plotted to deceive Allah, but Allah was also planning, and Allah always has the best plans."

a makr neednt be evil. if it is done by evil people, it is a plot, and if it is done by good people, it is a plan or strategy.

Why would Allah purposely use complex wording with two meanings? Why not make it clear???

it is clear. you're just too dumb to understand it.

when you have little if any understanding of Arabic, and have little grasp of Arabic vocabulary and are relying on translations of the Quran it is stupid of you to say the quran is unclear.

if i wrote the sentence "how many characters are there in snow white and the seven dwarves and you answered 4 + 5 + 3 + 3 + 5 +7 = 27, its not my fault that you are too dumb to understand the question, because your vocabulary is paper-thin and you cannot appreciate that one word can have several meanings.

Just my two cents, but if you are trying to enlighten/educate someone, it should probably be done without insulting them. It could be your response that turns a person away from learning more about Islam. Simply because you choose to answer with arrogance and harshness vs. patience.

Kid: Mommy I love you.
Mommy: I too love you.

The first love is love of gratitude.
Second love is the benign love of a mother.

Two are different but both of them are clear to all the concerned parties - including the observers.

Verily Allah and the Angels send peace upon the Prophet(PBUH), O you who have faith send peace and blessings upon him.

Here peace sent by Allah(SWT) and by others have different meanings but we all understand that.

If the things are not so clear about makr then it has more to do with our mental training where we understand God by our common sense that has been trained by that environment that has enormous noise of Godlessness and heedlessness.

We got to salvage ourselves from this trap of wrongly trained common sense.

I must be dumb then. It's this "second class" treatment of non-muslims by muslims that has turned many of my friends away from islam. I am not sure why I keep trying to learn more, when clearly I'm too "dumb to understand." Peace be upon you....

^ Brother if you feel davidovitch's answer is condescending to you, don't pay attention to it. Pay attention to other answers instead, like the one above yours.

davidovitch should not be replying in such a manner. If some one is not understanding your point, then one must find fault in himself. That you are not communicating effectively.

I may understand a point but it does not mean i can effectively communicate to make the other party understand. When ever responding to people always keep their perspective in view, ie where they coming form.

What we do is we just make our point, and if someone objects or disagrees we shoot him down. Whenever someone objects or disagrees with one's viewpoint, immediately review your position in light of the objection or disagreement.

Now that's one 'conspiracy theory' put into action... I'd say this is dangerous indeed. I can see why people are cautious about any talk revolving around dajjal that involves systems.

Is it telling that the leader of the group is referred to as the Leader of the Time - Emamuzzaman?

, I understand what brother is saying.

I would just not want abid786 be dissuaded from seeking the truth because of some replies he found offensive.
