It must be soooo cool to be an introvert.

No worrries of talking the wrong stuff and then thinking ....... ''WHHHooooPS!! What did i say now?!!!''
Then trying to make a quick excuse to make it sound not the way it was said, then on top of it making a story to make the excuse sound reasonable and sane!

Such a stress-free life

Yeah but at the same time, I think we can be a little bit more harsh or straight forward in our speech and thus people take it the wrong way, so then we got to worry about the persons feelings afterwards.

What do u mean here? That south africans talk alot?
ASWW
What? Talk a lot?
I am saying integrating with secular society... Sister Sudoku has put it very nicely.
Even the South African Govt. has recognised the contribution of the Muslims in their country unlike in other countries who only give lip service.!!

You also called it a bidah.

but this method of dawah is not a sunnah.
dawah in itself is a sunnah but this method (using internet) is a bidah

You also called it a bidah.

dear mod
ofcourse i called it a bidah
and it is a bidah in literal sense.
is it not an innovation???

pls see i am neither against it nor opposing it but i am stating the fact that this method of dawah (i.e; using internet) is indeed an innovation.

had this method been the best method of dawah it would definetly would have given to huzur .

khair let's not engage in a debate.keep up the good work.

Note:: i am neither a scholar not a learned one but a two-faced laymen. so if my illiteracy/ jahalat hurts anybody then i m extremely SORRY.

An introvert finds it hard to do socialise publicly, hence I believe they should exert their da'wah through means they can adapt to- like the internet. Just because they can't speak up doesn't mean that they can't give da'wah. I am more introverted myself al hamdu lillah and this internet has really helped me in so many ways. Al hamdu lillah.

shy, withdrawn, reclusive, reserved, reticent, timid, quiet
got bullied for it, when tried to revert to my baseline normal self (as part of an experiment, and because I was tired), which was introverted. the problem is, for an introvert, it requires a lot of energy to be extroverted. And in both instances we're faulted for it. Even when all you're trying to do is cope.

If were introverted because we’re scared of rejection then we have to fight that and force ourselves to be extroverts because nothing should be feared besides Allah SWT. And if were extroverted because we’re showoffs and want attention then we should fight that as well by avoiding the spotlight and spending time in khalwa. Barak Allah ta’aala

I don't think people are introverted because of rejection. It's just the way Allah Ta'aala has made them. Allah has made some people more recluse than others, and some Allah Ta'aala has made very sociable. Both are commendable and do not have to change, as long as it does not hinder their Shar'ee duties.

What sister Acacia mentioned was true that you cannot figure out who are introverts or extroverts through forums. I personally know some on the forum who may seem like extroverts from their posts, but if those articles I posted are anything to go by, then those people would be considered ideal introverts.

I 100% agree behen sudoku that not all are introverts because they fear rejection but maybe some are. There's absolutely nothing wrong with fearing rejection as long as we realize it and correct ourselves. Barak Allah ta'aala.

That's so true, its virtually impossible to recognize intro's and exro's from an internet forum!

My sister’s an introvert. Though she’s so fun and funny, sometimes, just out of the blue, she’ll prefer to spend time alone. Personally, I actually find it makes her even more interesting and mysterious in a cool way. May Allah SWT love her dearly. Amin everyone. Barak Allah ta’aala.
