If you are looking for sufi shaykhs in Canada, there are plenty. I believe Ajax (Islamic School) has a couple of shaykhs that teacher there. However, I don't know how there English is in case you don't speak urdu.

However, there is another shaykh I have heard about that seems very interesting. His name is Shaykh Zakarriya who is a khalifa of Maulana Yusef Motala (DB) who is a khalifa of Maulana Zakarriya (RA).

He is young and I believe lives in Toronto.

However, he is from the Chisti Silsila.

However, if you are only looking for a Naqshbandi shaykh, I highly recommend Shaykh Tauqeer Chauwdry (Khalifa of Shaykh Zulfiqar DB). He is based in the U.A.E., but he cares so much about his students Alhumdulillah (I am not bayat to him or have islahi taluq with him). He has a weekly gathering every week which you can listen to online, and many other programs. Also his wife gives many lectures for women.

I am sure that all mashaik deeply care about all of their students, but there are some that I have noticed that just seem like they go the extra mile for their students. Shaykh Tauqeer is definately one of them.

A really good lecture : Respecting Humanity. It seems to hit all of the themes that have been coming up in SF and in life in general. It is long but some of you can make some time to listen to it. It is worth a listen, a great reminder.
