Asslam alikum wa rahmat Allah,
Here is the second summery/ translation of Love of Allah (mohabbah, shawg and reda)from the kymyaye saadat of Imam Gazali (db).First inshallah, I will start by mentioning some examples of the lovers of Allah swt and next time inshAllah the summery discussion #3.
Ahwale Arefan1. Rabiah
Some people asked rabiah (RA) about jannah . she RA replied (aljaro tomma al dar) meaning that is house of Allah this (earth) also similarly. (meaning for the knowers of Allah it does not matter where they are they enjoy friendship of Allah

2. Karkhi (RA)
they asked karkhi RA why you hate the world and seclude yourself for ebadah so much; is it due to fear of death, hope for jannah, or fear of torments of grave . He (RA) replied All that you mentioned is in the hand of a king that if you taste his frienship you will forget everything.

3. Ali-ibn mowafag RA
Said I saw the jannah in my dream. there were many that were busy eating from fruit of jannah and angels were helping them to eat. I saw one person as if his eyes coming out of his skull sitting and starring At allah. I asked the doorkeeper of jannah, who is that . they told me he is maaroofe karkhy RA his ibadah was not due to fear from jahanam nor hope for jannah. Allah SWT has made his vision permissable (mobah) for him.

4. boshre hafi(RA)
some one saw boshre-hafi in dream. asked him about two other saintly men namely abu nasre Tammar (RA) and abdul wahabe Warrag (RA). He RA said I just left them in jannah the person asked how about yourself. he RA said allah SWT noticed I don't have any enthusiasim about foods of jannah so he SWT blessed me with his own vision.

5. yahya ibn moaaz RA
He said one night I went to visit bayazeed RA. I found him busy with worship of Allah SWT. I sat and waited from isha prayer until fajr to be able to talk to him. he had taken off his shoes sitting on his knee position and his eyes seemed wide open and starring (mabhoot). finally near the fajr salat he performed a long sajdah and raised his hand and made following dua. " o, Allah some were seeking you you showered them with karamat and they could walk in water jump on air I seek refuge to you from those. others you blessed treasures of earth and travelling at night to far places and they were happy with that. I seek refuge to you from all that And seek yuourself from you. then he turned his head and saw me and asked ya yahya you are here? I said yes since last night could you share with me some of your ahwal? he said I will share what befit you. I was taken for tour of malkoote-aala and malkute-asfal last night Then I was asked whaterver you want from what you have seen ask Allah swt will give it to you. I said from all these I do not want anything then ALlah SWT said truly (hagga) that you are my servant (bandah)

6.Abu torabe-nakhshi
said that he used to have a sincere murid who though very young was very pious and had strong habit of ibadah. I told him it is good for you if you visit bayazid. the murid replied I am busy with the creator of bayazid what do i need bayazeed for? abu-torab said I told him if you see bayazid at least one time it is very good for you. he asked me how so. I said what you see from ALlah SWT fit to your level (magam). With bayazid you will experience Allah SWt in his level(magam). Murid accepted and we head to desert to meet with bayazid (RA). I saw bayazid in horizon that was wearing a leather cloth in his shoulder. when the murids glance fall on bayazid he made a loud voice fall in the ground and expired. I run to bayazid and asked him did you kill him in one glance? He RA said no. he was a truthful one (sedeeg). he had a spritual secret (sirr) that was not openning for him with his own abilities. once he saw me his secret was opened and he was weak and had not developed capacity, so he expired.

7.friend of bayazeed RA
Bayazeed used to have a friend that used to frequent the palace and give advice to king. once upon visiting bayazeed he asked him. my friend, it is more than thirty years that I have been paraying, fasting tahajjud like you. how come I do not experience love of Allah, etc like you do? Bayazeed said even if you do what you do for threee hundred years you will never experience any speciel karamat. because you have covered yourself from allah (mahjoob). the friend asked what is my solution. bayazeed said if I tell you you would not do it the man insisted and bayazeed repeated tree times that if I tell you you won't do it. finally bayzeed upon his insistance accepted to give him the advice. he RA said go to barber, ask him to shave all of your beard then wrapp an old towel around yourself hang a bag filled with walnuts from your neck then go to market place and any young kids you see tell them if they hit you in the neck you will give them one walnut then in that shape go to palace and the court let every one that you know see you. the man said subhanAllah what kind of advise is that. bayazzed said the subhanAllah that you just uttered you commited shirk since you talked about your own exaultedness (azamah) and not that of rahman aziwajal. and I told you from begining that you can not do that (Byazzed wanted to show the kibr and pride in friends heart that keep him busy with position, power, palace)

8.wahy to Eisa (as).
that when I look at my slaves if I do not see the love of dunya nor akhirah in their heart then I fill their heart with my own love and I take their protection in my own hand
