Al-salamu 'alaykum.
In English there isn't much apart from Umdat al-Salik, which has been translated as, 'The Reliance of the Traveller.' I am using this translation to teach some young Muslims and it is generally excellent, although the English is sometimes unclear and there are a number of mistakes in the translation. A teacher should be able to clarify things for you insha'Allah. If you know Arabic then I would recommend this curriculum, which combines classical and modern:
Beyond this is independent research into the madhab through Minhaj al-Talibin and its shuruh, Rawdat al-Talibin, Sharh al-Muhadhab, Fath al-Azizi, Mukhtasar al-Muzani and its shuruh, Kitab al-Umm and its appendices, al-Bayhaqi's works, etc. |

Al-salamu 'alaykum. Allah bless you, i have Salvation Book in Arabic, but it would be too long for me to comprehen cos i cant speak Arabic, only know few words. And thank you for the recomendation i really appreciate it. I opened this thread bcos i am in too much cunfuse, and i want to learn more specific about Ash-Shafiie, for i have experienced and i heard a lot of people said many things and with good dalils also, when returned those to The Holy Noble Quran, their dalils are acceptable, same thing in the Hadiths. But later on i know he's not even a Shafiie. hat is what mostly confuse me, and i sometimes feel the fear of being distracted from Shafiie's yet i am a Shafiie or mixing it with others. I dont say they who gave me dalils are wrong, they are right, for their dalils are in The Quran and Sunnah, but simply i want to be more specific and be very very more careful about it. |
