I think he emulates Ajamy. Asad bhai used to do our tashkeel years ago and he was a very good brother in 5 amal. I also listened to him in Hyd after a long time, the impression I got is that his qirat is a mix of Mishary and Ajamy.

assalamu alaikum

i have heared this recitation in a local masjid by a local/ desi qari (named hafez as'ad) who is said to be working in madina but was on leave when i listened him here in hyd.
Then i heared people outside that he was reciting in the tone of an imam of haramain.

so can any body recognize this voice?? ppls tell if any body does..
