I like to know if somehow I can arrange all my daily Azifa / Amal in my smartphone in such a way that It will show me all the relevant Dua / timing reminders / Amal details with written text if needed.
I am looking for a phone that has support for notes / mp3 / calendar reminders upto the minute of the day . I don't know if there is a smartphone more compatible for this need or any free apps . |

Yes, but the constraint is that most of the apps are paid. If you download app planet market ALL the apps are free. If you go to the forums of android you will find more free apps, sometimes all you need to do is google what you want with ".apk" at the end and most likely you will find it. : ) |

I think you have been misinformed about Galaxy S2. My Brother's friend has recently switched to Galaxy S2 after having used iPhone 3 & 4S for a long time and he has found it to be better than iPhone in all aspects. brother, are you using them ? did not review sony erc yet... any good features budget is that of an iphone 4S If you have a budget of an iPhone, then go for it (give S2 preference as well). Don't even think about Sony Ericson or Motorola or anything. |

Galaxy S2 over the IPhone however, I would recommend the HTC Sensation XE (note, not the standard "Sensation"), if you want pure performance (1.5gig dual core processor) although the Galaxy S2 has abit more RAM. However, the UI is much more slicker and intuitive on the XE and in terms of tasks which are heavy on number crunching for instance (like converting files from on particular format to another) the XE is much quicker than the Galaxy. I own an XE and prefer it to the Galaxy S2. Apple iphone: too locked down in my opinion, apps on the Android platform are always increasing in quality and are much more accessible. If you are not too focussed on the maximum performance and want a nice phone which falls beneath these top end phones then I would recommend the Sony Experia Arc S which also has a very nice UI, but is not as intuitive as the HTC's Sense UI but still good (and I would say better than the Galaxy S2). Its a brilliant phone and perfect if you dont want to go with the norm. EDIT: Battery life is better on the XE too... Wasalam |

with iphone you got to have a big heavy thick wallet in your adjacent pocket, if you dont you look odd because one side of your thowb or qameez is hanging down. its not exactly small and light weight. the apps are VERY useful but simple things like txt messages are difficult. google 'apple customer support' and see the reviews about the bluetooth and muffled sound. sorry for going against the jumhoor. |

just make sure that no tracking software is installed in your smartphone. Previously there was a tracking software that tracks a user keystroke, though not enabled by default, but can be enabled remotely. The software was installed deep within the setting, and it's pretty hard to disable it. Try google about this. Just 2-3 weeks ago it caused a huge user uproar over the issue. At default setting, the software sends information about basic user habit to a company that does profiling and is located in California. Allah Knows Best. |

What are the downsides to iPhone @ Bro Mantismaster? can be mainly narrowed down to the following: fixed battery, not very developer friendly therefore apps on the market though high quality are not as numerous as on the Andriod platform, no usb connectivity, no possibility of memory expansion, cant tether to a laptop (although i think you can if you have an ipad), more expensive than Andriod in terms of cost/apps/maintenance. Nevertheless, I dont knock people if they buy it, its a polished product, and good if you have a mac, ipod/ ipad as you can interlink them. Siri is quite hilarious at times! But its not for me. EDIT: also web browsing is limited too (vis a vis Adobe platform) |
