I've seen the saying mentioned in the topic (i.e. "The worst among you are your bachelors") ascribed to Rasulullah

, with references being given to Abu Ya`la and Tabarani, on multiple websites.

Could one of the scholars comment on it's authenticity?

It is a weak hadith according to the `ulama.
