As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Anyone ever had Bronchitis or a severe chest infection. I started cycling and swimming just over a week ago and, before I knew it, I developed a chest infection with violent coughing and wheezing, accompanied with lovely phlegm.

The thing is I have been on Amoxycillin (anti-biotics) since friday and Prednisolone (steriods) since sunday, now the symtoms have eased, but I am still feeling wheezy and have bouts of violent coughing with lovely phlegm.

I would have thought that the symptoms should be gone after a few days on anti-biotics.

Anyone had a similar experience?
