There are 3 answers of our prayers by God..
1. Yes 2. Yes but not now 3. I have a better plan There is never a No! So one must not lose hope while praying, and keep the deep faith in Allah! He's a better planner, all-knowing, all-wise! And yes, remember.. for every prayer u make u get the reward for it! we Muslims are truly blessed Allahu'Akbar! |

Read the story linked in the OP, Allahu'Akbar! As Muslims, when we make dua to Allah for anything, no matter how big or small, then we should consider the matter "finished". What I mean by consider the matter "finished" is that we should have 1000% yaqeen (faith, belief) that I made such and such dua, and now it will be accepted by Allah , Alhamdulillah I don't need to worry about this matter anymore. That's it, done deal, Subhan'Allah we have the gift of emaan which The Creator has blessed us with, and we know for a fact that Allah will always make whatever is best for us happen. At the same time, we need to understand that the acceptance of this dua may not be "instant", but it will be accepted when and if Allah Almighty wills. If it's not accepted in this world, then we need to thank Allah for it, for He has, in His infinite wisdom, protected us from something bad by not accepting a particular dua immediately, or has an even better plan for us than we asked for. We are the creation and the Creator's wisdom is beyond us. For example, let's take something which most of us will Insha'Allah understand. Let's say someone is always making dua to Allah swt to give him a BMW (or insert your favorite luxury car). But, for some reason, it just never seems to work out, he never gets the BMW even though he's doing everything right as far as saving money etc and also fulfilling his Islamic duties with great enthusiasm, true pious person. One may wonder why such a pious person making abundant dua and working hard for it, why is his dua not being accepted by Allah? Allah knows what we do not know. Maybe if this person was given the BMW, he would soon get into a major accident and become seriously injured, or even die, leaving his family with no one to take care of them. Maybe the car would eventually fill him with pride and he would stop practicing the deen as he becomes more and more involved in doing what's forbidden, heading fast towards hellfire (may Allah protect us all, Ameen). Maybe..... it could be soo many things. So, Allah is being The Most Merciful & The Especially Merciful, Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim, by not giving this person the car. Allah has actually saved this person from so much by not giving this person this car, and yet the person doesn't even know. We just don't know, only Allah knows. The above of course is a hypothetical example but Insha'Allah I pray that my point gets across. The same goes for any and every situation. We just do not know what kind of calamities we are always being protected from by the grace of Allah , or how He is always steering us in the right direction by the chain of events which occur in our lives. We just don't know. Only Allah knows. May Allah forgive me if I said anything wrong. Allah knows best. |

The Prophet () said: The slave will receive a response so long as his dua does not involve sin or severing of family ties, and so long as he is not hasty.” It was said, “What does being hasty mean?” He said: “When he says, ‘I made dua and I made dua, and I have not seen any response,’ and he gets frustrated and stops making dua.”
Narrated by the two Shaykhs. |
