Default Is the Quran Vaild ?
For me as an Arabic speaker and memorizer of a great deal of the Quran it is the most authentic and valid book. But how do I explain that to other non-Muslims who produce comments like the one below?

Supply the evidence that your religion is true and the others false. The Quran is not evidence, any more than the Bible or the Book of Mormon or the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead is.

What you use as evidence is relative to the person you are speaking to.... So you can start with the Quran as evidence if that doesn't work.... then you might have to use a different approach.... depending on the person you are speaking to... You have to get the feel of the people with whom you talk to.... then decide on what to use as evidence... There is black and white answer....

None of the other religions can vouch for the authenticity of their scripture - with evidence. None of the other scriptures were memorized and written down at the time of their revelation, neither did any of the other scriptures have hundreds, if not thousands, of followers memorizing the entire scripture from start to finish during the time of its revelation. No other scripture is free from contradictions. You can use the scientific miracles explanation but the problem is, science is dynamic and ever-changing so it cannot be used as a good measure for the "correctness" of a scripture. No other scripture was readily available to EVERY single member of the faith - in fact, no other religion obligated the memorization of at least part of its scripture except for Islam to prove its being protected. Compare that with the Torah, which was corrupted as it was kept by Rabbis and not readily available to the layperson until much recently. Compare that with the Gospels which were corrupted by the priests and even anti-Christian elements from Judaism - they were even kept in a language understood by only a handful of people until the Protestant Reformation - nearly a millennium and a half after Isa .

As for Islam itself, no other personality in the history of the world has had his life documented to such an extent as Rasoolullah . No other religious personality in history has had hundreds of thousands of followers within his lifetime starting from scratch. No other religion provides rules for almost every minutiae of life - most of it directly from the life of Rasoolullah without analogy.
