To follow up: Hafiz Ismail Munshi has already reached Zambia. Mawlana Muhammad will be going to Gujarat today. I had the opportunity of meeting him yesterday night and he regaled me with incidents of his former Shaykh, Hadrat Mawlana Masihullah sab(rah). He also mentioned some things about Mawlana Yunus Jaunpuri, Shaykh al Hadith, Mazahir al 'Uloom. One of the stories was about why he never married. Mawlana Yunus has never kept good health and has been ill since his childhood. When he was finally allowed to marry by his doctors, Shaykh al Hadith Mawlana Zakariyya called him and said that he should marry. Mawlana Yunus said that he was looking for a suitable girl. Hadrat Shaykh asked him what kind of girl he wanted. Mawlana Yunus started off: Khoobsurat ho (Goodlooking), Khoob seerat ho(Beautiful life per Sunna), Mizaj Shanaas ho(Balanced), Khidamatguzaar ho(willing to serve) etc etc. Hadrat Shaykh kept listening and smiling and then said, "Yunus, you'd better leave be. This matter is not for you. You are better off as you are."
