Asalaam-u-Alaikum.. I have been posting on this forum and Alhamdulilah i do get replies from the members.
I am here with another problem. Its about me, my family, INSHALLAH soon there's a wedding in our family. my sisters and parents they are stressed not because there is a wedding coming up ALHAMDULILAH they are very happy about it but, my family they get those bad dreams like it has happen quite often that my sister she dreams that someone wants to spoil our name n and her name too.. like yesterday she had a dream that there's someone telling her that i am going to spoil your name on this specific day and now she is so worried about it,"could it be kinda black magic on us?" our discussions regarding anything leads nowhere infact we end up arguing at home, we aren't that happy these days, everything seems to be going wrong. please brothers/sisters help me on this. Thank You |

   Brother nothing to worry about. A bad dream is from shaitaan, it will NOT harm us. It is mentioned by our beloved Rasoolullah The Prophet said, "A good dream that comes true is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan, so if anyone of you sees a bad dream, he should seek refuge with Allah from Satan and should spit on the left, for the bad dream will not harm him."Hadith -Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 115: Narrated Abu Qatada |

Wa alaikum salaam tell your family not to worry and not relate the bad dreams just read what brother amr posted in he's post and make dua to Allah to protect you and your family Insha'Allah.

Regarding spitting on the left, just so there's no confusion, I believe it is spit *dryly* to the left 3 times. As in, do the motion and sound of spitting towards your left 3 times, but not actually have any spit come out of your mouth. Do it dry. Don't want brothers and sisters spitting all over their beds.  Please correct me if I am wrong.
