Before you think about saying it, read this:

Salam 'Aleykum,

There are many websites for Du'ah online, search all of them and you won't find examples of this, the Quran teaches us to make Du'ah for Allah directly and so does the Sunnah.

"Madad Ya Rasullah" means "Help, Oh Prophet Of Allah". As in if one is asking the Prophet directly for help. I am no scholar (far from it) but I wouldn't use such phrases ever.

We as Muslims dedicate our lives to developing deep love for Rasul-Allah and following his sunnah in every aspect of our lives. However, at the same time we understand that he was merely a human being just like the rest of us, and all praise belongs to Allah swt alone. Of course, Rasul-Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was the best human being to ever walk this earth, in every aspect. A human being the likes of which never existed before him and never will exist after him, but my point is... he was still a human being.

So when we ask for help, we ask Allah swt alone. We don't ask Rasul-Allah , or any other Prophet, for even Rasul-Allah and any Prophet would forbid us to treat them as anyone other than the slaves and messengers of Allah .

The Prophet has told us when any of us send salam and durood on him, he is informed about it via angels who are sent by Allah. The key here is to understand that he (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) does not have the capability himself to hear our salam every time we say it to him, but rather that it only happens by the will of Allah alone, and if Allah willed for my salam to not get to RasulAllah (peace be upon him), then no one could make my salam get to him. I hope that makes sense.

As far as this 'song' you speak of, if it's one of those "islamic songs" with music and everything, then I would suggest you stay away from them and not believe or pay attention to anything they say in them.

May Allah forgive me if I said anything wrong.

Allah knows best.
