I'm very fond of the translation by Aisha and Abdalhaqq Bewley.

I have both of these translations and like them both. As for the layout I prefer having the ayah in Arabic facing its translation (like in the Picthall translation for instance). I like the Picthall translation too, but some might find that the Archaic language slows the reading down the reading.
