I for got some important poits that imam mentions so I will do it again
About Nafs.
Nafs nature is to run away from khair(rightous act) and cling to sharr(evil act)

The nature of it is laziness and lustful.

You have been comanded to change this nature of your nafs while in earthly life.

One need to implement some gentle method some harsh and some with words and action to change the nature nafs

Most of the hijab (veil) of nafs is forgetfulness and ignorance Allah say; wa dhakir fa inna-al dhikra tanfao-ul Moomenin
Woe to you ‘O’ Nafs (imam gazali)

Every day you are doing ma’asi(sins) . if you think Allah does not see you then you are a kafir(nonbeliever)And if you think your sins would not be taking into account then you don’t believe in quran(man yamala souan yajza bih) or you belive that that 124000 prophets were liars (naudibillah)
Woe to you ‘O’ nafs; You say Allah is rahim He will help me without any effort on my part. You say this without having any tolerance for hardship. Then you should think why Allah SWT have kept so many in hunger, sickness... and when it comes for satisfying your lust and desire you make all kinds of tricks and accept so much hardship to receive it.. O nafs if you can not tolerate a little hardship for Allah how you are going to tolerate the humiliation of facing Allah SWT and the hardship of the fire of hell
Woe to you “O”; nafs that you make so much effort and accept so much hardship and humility for money and wealth. For bodily health you listen to Doctors and avoid eating and avoid any lust that he prescribed. Don’t you know that hell is much harder than any sickness and poverty in this world . Don’t you know the difference of time in akhirah and this world
Woe to you “o’ nafs; you say I am thinking of Tawbah (repentance) I will be do good actions when the time comes. What happens if sudden death catch you and leave you in sorrow for the rest of your life.
Woe to you “o” Nafs; why you don’t take advantage of young age before getting old, health before falling sick, economic well being, before poverty, and life before death creeps in.
Woe to you ‘O’ nafs inside you is kufr. You really don’t believe in qyamah(day of judgment), you really don’t believe in anything other than lust and immediate desire. You have attached yourself to the joy and pleasures and fallen in love with dunya
Woe to you ‘O’ nafs you have attached yourself so much to this dunya. You know that even if they give all this dunya to you after few years they will take it away from you and you will be forgotten like the past kings and queens
Woe to you ‘o’ nafs that for this little dunya filled with difficulties and problems you have forgotten the jannah with no toil and which is forever
