Salaam Alaikum i was watching a show the other day called ''All American Muslims'' about different Libanese Arab families in Dearborn USA and i noticed that the majority of them were Shia Muslims now what basically puzzled me was the amount of people with tattoo's and without a hijab even the religious ones?

السلام عليكم
I saw the show too brother, i doubt that this is accepted in Shia Islam but i don't think that the ones who did it are very religious. I personally didn't know Dearborn Michigan had that many Shia's until i saw the show. اللهم وحد صفوف المسلمين وابعد عنهم الفتن May Allah bridge any gaps in the Muslim community and prevent sectarian slander |

السلام عليكم Q12) What is your ruling on having permanent or temporary tattoos? A12) Tattoos are permissible irrespective of whether they are permanent or temporary. Rulings of Grand Ayatullah Sistani Sunni: It is prohibited for a Muslim to have any type of tattoo on his body. Rasulullah [sallallaahu alayhi wasallam] cursed such a person. and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best Mufti Ebrahim Desai http://www.islam.tc/cgi-bin/askimam/...14769&act=view |
