Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatULLHI wa barakatuHU wa maghfiratuHU,
For quite a while now, I have been wondering what halal sources of income could there be for women? Is it absolutely prohibited in Islam for women to do a job? Or is there some rukhsah for her if she wants to do it for an Islamically valid and /or desirable pursuit, say for an example, acquisition of religious knowledge by buying books with the money she earns? If yes, should she only look for a job where she would be in an all-women environment with no men around? Even if she does Hijab and takes a veil?

There is nothing wrong with women working... But in todays environment is quite difficult for them to work..

The best jobs can be

1. Online jobs (web designer, article writing, VA etc..)
2. Teaching in a girls only college
3. Starting own business
