Dear All,

There are four fundamental interactions in nature; means there are four forces in this nature which cannot be described in terms of other interactions. These are mysterious forces.

1. Electromagnetism
2. Strong Interaction
3. Weak Interaction
4. Gravitation

The fourth one Gravitation is the force that is found most. Scientists do not know what gravity is and why it occurs/exists, but because of gravity all the universe is like as we see it.

If there was no gravity, there would be simply nothing.

Here is excerpt from Wikipedia that tells what gravity plays a role in the formation of universe

Gravitation is responsible for keeping the Earth and the other planets in their orbits around the Sun; for keeping the Moon in its orbit around the Earth; for the formation of tides; for natural convection, by which fluid flow occurs under the influence of a density gradient and gravity; for heating the interiors of forming stars and planets to very high temperatures; and for various other phenomena observed on Earth.

Since, Gravitation is the most mysterious and at the same time most important and widely used force without which nothing can exist but still scientists are unable to explain this force, it automatically means that God created this force and behind its functioning.

This also demonstrates that how limited and tiny knowledge scientists/mankind have that they could not explain the most basic force of nature.

Since, Gravitation is the most mysterious and at the same time most important and widely used force without which nothing can exist but still scientists are unable to explain this force, it automatically means that God created this force and behind its functioning. In deed gravitation is one of the most easily experienced force but electromagnetic phenomena too is not that rare.

Gravitational phenomena were explained more than three centuries ago by Isaac Newton. That is what is book Principia is about. Beginning with high school, or at least at intermediate level, his law of gravitation is taught to the students. This inverse square law of force explains nearly all of the gravitational phenomena.

But some things are still left unexplained. These are not that many but they are there. These are explained by Einstein's general theory of relativity (GTR). These things are so small that no one knew them before Einstein's theory.

And that is about all. We know about gravitation to an excellent level.

What physicists have been talking about it after that is either plain speculation or very close to that. That should not concern the lay people. Here are few words about that.

The other three interactions, electromagnetic, weak and strong are described by quantum mechanical theories - quantal theories in short. Newton's as well as Einstein's theories are not quantal theories.
So some people say that we should have a quantum mechanical theory for gravity also.

But so far there is no requirement for that. We do not have any physical observation that demands.
People just want quantal theory of gravity just for the heck of it. And they have put lots of hard work into that.

This leads us to quantum gravity, supergravity and string theory. Just because we want to exercise our neurons and not because nature has any indication for that.

That is more or less the current situation.
This also demonstrates that how limited and tiny knowledge scientists/mankind have that they could not explain the most basic force of nature. True our capabilities are limited. But what capabilities Allah(SWT) has given us those are enormous and we know a lot about the above interactions including gravity. Amongst the known physical phenomena there is not much that we can not explain.

There is an answer to that. In Einstein's field equations the left hand side is about gravity and the right hand side is about the sources of gravity. So in the scientific circles answer to your question will be that gravity exists because of matter.

And circles are not always bad.
There are virtuous circles and there are vicious circles.
In the present case I might have created a circle but that certainly was not my intention. And if there is a circle I sincerely pray that it is a virtuous one.
Coming back to your question.
