In Istanbul, passed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the leader of the largest Indonesian Muslim community "Nahdatul Ulama" Said Akil Siraj and the leadership of the Muslim social network Salam World.

As part of the planned actions organized a meeting of Indonesian spiritual leader, the mufti of Istanbul Rahmi Yaran. During this meeting, Akil Siraj stressed the importance of relations between Turkey and Indonesia, which are the western and eastern gates of the Islamic world. History of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul-Hamid II can be heard in all corners of our country "- said Akil Siraj.

In addition, the leader of the "Nahdatul Ulama", said: "The use of information technology can contribute to identity of Muslim youth, so we need to support the project Salam World».

In turn, the mufti of Istanbul Rahmi Yaran, thanked the guests for coming and expressed his hope that cooperation between Turkey and Indonesia will continue to strengthen and develop. Mufti also thanked Salam World for hosting this important meeting of Muslims in both countries.

Salam World - the first international project multilingual social network for Muslims, is headquartered in Istanbul. Social network launch will take place this spring.
