Wa 'alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
There are two different opinions regarding iqlaab. You can bring your lips together but reduce the pressure while producing a ghunnah, that is what I am more leaned towards and how I was taught. I have heard that the seperation of the lips is a more complementary opinion. The meem shouldn't be 100% clear, it should be a little hidden as if after meem saakinah a baa comes then we will hide it via ghunnah and pressure reduction (when the noon saakinah turns to meem saakinah, all rules of meem saakinah will apply). Have a listen to episode 16 on this page: http://www.tajweedinenglish.com/list...ed-lesson-1-30 This should clear things inshaa Allah. Allah knows best. |
