Our own Muslim brothers demolished the Mosque in Hyderabad

When others demolish our mosques, we raise hue and cry but when our own people demolish it what can be said about them. It only shows that we don’t have the fear of Allah (SWT). Ghar ko aag lagi ghar ke chirag se.

An old Qutub Shahi Mosque situated at the Mallapur (Balapur) was brought dow to ground level by none others than two Muslims namely Saleem and Sameer. Saleem is a resident of Phool Bagh. He is a Patta Holder. Sameer’s office functions as A-1 Builders at Phisal Banda. Sameer had entered into an agreement with Saleem for 42 acres of land. Both of them jointly performed this shameful act of demolishing the Mosque. Police arrested both of them. Siasat had published the details of this Mosque on 4th December 2011. It is registered in Wakf Board in the Gazette published on 09-02-1989 under Survey No. 96, 97 and 98. Local Muslims lodged the complaint in police station. Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri also recorded his complaint on behalf of Deccan Wakf Protection Cell.

A.C.P. Mr. Srinivas told that after seeing the Wakf records, Panchnama will be documented and Collector, Ranga Reddy would be informed about it.

It may be recalled that Moulana Abul Kalam Azad thorugh this weekly ‘Al-Hilal’ had appealed to the conscience of the Muslims by extending invitation to declare that “All the Muslims should declare their determination that it is possible to cut the loafs of flesh from their bodies but the building of the Mosque, its boundary, or even an inch of its piece can not be removed or dismantled” (Al-Hilal dated: 11-06-1912).

We are ashamed of calling them Muslims. They have proved that they don’t value the Quran, Hadith or the quotations of our ancestors. A few days back, the Mosque was is good condition. Only Siasat has the Photograph of this Mosque.
