Question and Answer for every Question and Answer! You must read this and inculcate!
Question In Pakistan, India and in the surrounding regions, there is a habit and custom. Every time they have a situation, they open the Quran with the intention that Allah [SWT] will give them an answer. Is this right? Answer According to some scholars, this is a bidah (an innovation) highly not recommended and it is not the teaching of the Prophet [SAWS] or the companions of Prophet [SAWS]. Also, Allah [SWT] wants us to follow the Prophet's teaching which is "to make Dua, to offer two rakah salah asking Allah [SWT] with istikhaara and to do consultation (mashwara)". Now, even after doing that, we will not get the right answer until and unless we are in the state of abd (slave of Allah [SWT]). Today our nafs is high, we have no desire even for good deeds, we have lack of sincerity, above all we have no knowledge + low Iman = the vision is not clear or we can't see. Because, we are stuck of what we want or what we think is good for us and we were or have become rebellious acting like a bad boy or like a bad child, nasty, angry, not thankful and discontent. We can't see except what we want and this causes blindness from Allah [SWT], as we don't thank Allah [SWT] and respect His Qadr (destiny). For me, I have an experience for last 20 years of my life or more! When I have a situation or a hardship or a major decision, I go to Allah [SWT] or I read Quran. But it is my regular reading, meaning I read what I have to read regularly in this particular day. And I find the answer, but usually it's not easy, the answer is against my nafs or what I don't like! But I have surprise for you, a big one! Are you ready? And even then, what I am saying now is not easy. Majority of the time and majority of the people cannot do that, and cannot see and cannot handle the answer. Because we are stuck of what we want and we think it's best for us. We forget, Allah [SWT], who tells us over and over again in Quran, "I know and you don't know"- It is a constitution! The answer I always found was Come to Me [SWT] … Trust Me [SWT]… Believe in Me [SWT] … Return to Me [SWT] … Have patience… Rely on Me [SWT] (tawakkal) … I [SWT] know what is good for you… {What is bad for you might be good for you and what is good for you might be bad for you and I [SWT] know and you don't know} Get closer to Me [SWT], I [SWT] will take care of you… I'm [SWT] the owner of the universe and of the seen and unseen, past and present and future and I [SWT] have the key of the unseen… I'm [SWT] the king, owner of the dominion… Now, do you get the message? Surrender to Me, believe in Me, trust in Me, and rely on Me, Allah [SWT] questions here! If I am in state of abd, what could be my problem? I should have none; I belong to Him [SWT]. He [SWT] is the wise (Hakim) Do I believe in that? And everything is running by His [SWT] will and Qadr and whatever He [SWT] ordains. Again, a big surprise, big big big one! Do you think we can do it? I need to be a Muslim, a momin in a state of complete surrender and submission. Only at this moment I will see that my Dua can be accepted and He [SWT] will open for me. I can't have a plan or choice or timeline for what I want. I have to be a real abd and only then, Allah [SWT] will be my Rab, meaning my guardian and care for me. At this moment, I will have a vision of heart and He [SWT] will inspire me and open for me in the way I never expected. Again, a big surprise! But this time, the biggest one. Are you ready? The majority of our people can't handle what Allah [SWT] ordains and again we become rebellious. Again why? It becomes a trial. Because, we are not a real abd and we don't thank Allah [SWT] and be content with what He [SWT] gives us. And now, a new surprise! The Sunnah of Allah [SWT], is to snatch what He gives us and again we become miserable, unhappy and complaining. And this whole thing continues like a cycle because of the thanklessness to Allah [SWT] and the majority of the mankind does not thank Allah [SWT]. We say it with our lips but our heart is empty. Am I a smiling, happy and a content person? Do I thank Allah [SWT], in my appearance, in my voice; in my talk and most of all do I thank Allah [SWT] in my heart? Need an answer? If you cannot find the answer, ask yourself… Do I complain about Allah's [SWT] Qadr or do I complain about certain people or a situation? And even then, nothing can happen without the will of Allah [SWT]. The Qadr of Allah [SWT] means, if I'm a normal Muslim, I should be always content and in the state of thanking Allah [SWT] come what may! Question About opening the Quran and trying to understand where I am? Answer This time I will try to make it simple… Before you read the Quran, Quran reads you!!! Meaning what is my intention? If I want Allah [SWT] and I also want to work for Allah [SWT] what is my problem? I can… - Call Him [SWT] - Make Dua - Struggle to Develop myself Develop my Iman and Develop my manner Develop my belief & Be patient and to have trust! But I cannot dictate, when? Where? How? ... Will Allah [SWT] open for me? This is not my business! I cannot set an agenda with what I like and what I dislike. I have to accept with an open heart with complete contentment what Allah [SWT] wrote for me. Again, this needs a Momin; to completely belong to Allah [SWT], to understand and to comprehend the wisdom, the mercy, the generosity, and the will of Allah [SWT]. This is the journey by itself! And this is the journey of Iman! May Allah [SWT] open our eyes & heart and guide us! Ameen! Ameen! Ameen! By Da'ee Ahmed Moait From www.noora1.com |
