Gulen's the successor to Bezzamuddin Said Nursi, yes? I found enjoyment in a part of the Risale-i-Nur I read.

IS this fethullah gulen a reliable imam???

Here's what he says:

Reclusive Turkish Imam Criticizes Gaza Flotilla

SAYLORSBURG, Pa.—Imam Fethullah Gülen, a controversial and reclusive U.S. resident who is considered Turkey's most influential religious leader, criticized a Turkish-led flotilla for trying to deliver aid without Israel's consent.

Speaking in his first interview with a U.S. news organization, Mr. Gülen spoke of watching news coverage of Monday's deadly confrontation between Israeli commandos and Turkish aid group members as its flotilla approached Israel's sea blockade of Gaza. "What I saw was not pretty," he said. "It was ugly."

Mr. Gülen said organizers' failure to seek accord with Israel before attempting to deliver aid "is a sign of defying authority, and will not lead to fruitful matters."

Seriously, is there something wrong with him? Seeking Israel's permission??? Did he ever request his beloved Yahoodi friends to ask the Palestinians for permission before slaugtering their sons and terrorizing their women?

WARNING

Stay a thousand miles away from this Fethullah Gulen guy and his entire "Gulen Movement"!!!

IF INDEED YOU ARE A MU'MIN!

This is what his own website says:

He also praises the contribution of the Turkish Army who defended independence and integrity of the Republic. Symbolically, loyalty and obedience to the founding father of the Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, are expressed constantly in the everyday life at Gülen schools. Learning of the history of heroic struggles for the creation of the Republic is also the must in their school curriculum.

Gulen said in his message that "contemporary civilization" objective set by the Founder of modern Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk has reached to a new horizon on the prompting of European Union (EU). Gulen also shared his hope for Turkey to be given a negotiation start date at the EU December 17 summit.

http://www.fethullahgulen.org/press-...n-with-eu.html

Do we ever dare to take our Islam from someone (Gulen et al) who loves "an enemy of Allah (swt) to the core" the Shaitaan Ataturk (May Allah ta'aala repay him what his hands have earned)?

This is what Muft Ibrahim Desai says about the accursed Ataturk:

The fact that he was a despot and dictator cannot be denied. It was his cruelty and sadistic treatment of Muslims that makes him stand out as one of the worst enemies of Allah. The above was only what was reported and recorded by mostly Western observers. The extent of what actually went on in the new Turkey by the direct policy of Kamal, was heinous to say the least. He was an enemy of Allah (swt) to the core.

Now, having read all this, can we ever dare utter a single praise for this "Gulen Movement"??? Desist, for the sake of your own akhirat!

I'm reading it in sort of a descending order, so I finished part 2, now I'm at Hadrath Harith Muhasibi ra, I'm not getting the time to finish it in one go, also i tend to read many other books/ebooks concurrently, I'm also reading '1001 facts that will scare the **** out of you'...

When we deserve such men, Allah SWT will grant us men like him.
