Default matters of aqeedah should not be discussed
salaaam

i would just like to advise all members that matters of aqeedah should not be discussed or posted on forums. aqeeedah is a serious issue and if anyone feels he has questions regarding aqeedah then they should turn towards scholars who will be able to guide them through privately.

please refrain from posting on forums and expecting answers where any tom, **** and harry is able to comment.

this creates more confusion for the OP and others who are just reading through the posts.

thanks

which scholars should we ask?

deobandi?
salafi?
barelwi?

each will have their own bias and claim that they are more right than the other. who do you believe then?

Yeah, thats correct. But I think we have Alims in SF, hopefully we must redirect certain matters of Aqeedah, Fiqh to them.

Forward to 10min 22sec:

All we need is Lailaaha IllAllah Muhammadurrasool ullah. The indepth stuff is for the Ulema not us laymen. If someone thinks he can study in-depth aqeeda from books and internet may Allah have mercy on him.

This is not aqeedah this aqeeqah. What do you mean by Allahu Alam? You mean to say aqeedah is not defined.

Aqeedah of a muslim is clearly defined. See Iman e Mujmal and Iman e mufassal

Best aqeedah is Aqeedah At-Tahawiyyah on which there is consensus. And no it's not like haram to read it alone at home. But do clarify with authentic Ahlus Sunnah scholars if you face doubts.

Otherwise we would remain entrenched in jahaalat forever.

Get it right here:

Akhi - why so harsh and hasty to call others mubtadis? It's possible he only meant the following: refraining from asking about deep aqeedah questions and giving opinions on it.

E.g. Imam Malik was asked: How did Allah make istiwa' on the throne?" Imam Malik inclined his head and was silent until the sweat of fever covered his brow, then he looked up and said: "Istiwa' is not unknown (ghayru majhul), the modality of it is inconceivable in the mind (al-kayfu minhu ghayru ma`qul); but belief in it is obligatory, and inquiring about it is a heretical innovation. You are an innovator."

aoa,

that is what i meant. obviously i was speaking about matters outside of the six pillars and the five obligations. Allahualam to asma wal siffat for example.
