Default should i keep such a friend?
I have a childhood friend who i beleive is not someone i should keep company anymore. He is always cheating on his wife, he is in so much debt and is always moaning and is just so depressing to be around. He doesnt pray eats haram. Ive on a few occasions suggested to get religious turn to allah he will help you. I think his adultery has caused him to be in this mess as he is always struggling for money. We work in a business together now for a few years and he has been spending the business money on his own issues and casuing problems for the business. I've got to the point where i need to get away from him hes bringing me down. Do i have a religious duty to remain his friend and stay in contact as i feel he is bad for my life.

Keep your distance from anybody who distances you from Allah. Make du'aa to Allah to bless you with righteous companions, those that will remind you of Allah, when that happens you will see yourself automatically drifiting away from this person inshaa Allah. For now, keep your distance.
