I don't know who the person in question is..rather than him being a wahabbi or whatever it concerns me more that in his little biography there are no credible islamic qualifications and yet he is a teacher

ANd cordoba academy is an excellent place of seeking knowledge that covers many beneficial classical texts in hadeeth science and things.

Such a shame that the ummmah has been afflicted with this disease. all anyone seems to want to do is back bite and criticise

You take knowledge when it is good. It makes no differece where it is comming from. I am not fond of wahabyte but they also contributed at scholarly level. One has to be highly prejidiced to think otherwise.
As a rule I don't listen to non scholarly individual when islamic sciences is concern. I have witness non scholarly individual saying things on matter out of their league and laymen accepting their ignorance.

I am the owner of that site and the slander,swearing,backbiting and other things I have seen is when I did a search of all posts of Cordoba Teacher Abu Najm Fernando aka Ibn al-Iskander on IA forum. I have every right to defend myself and others from his reckless slander of Asharis,Sufis,his own teachers and myself. Until he repents or they can him I will continue insh'Allah.

The way I see it is just as we have Yahood & Nassarah we also have Wahabia. Just as I would be weary of a Mutazilah or a Shi3i teaching Hadeeth, I would be weary of a Wahabi doing so. What makes it even worst is that he promotes and interacts with his students on IA and elsewhere indoctrinating them into the IA Abuz Zubair ideology of "Exposing the Munafiq" (his strain of jarh wtadeel on the Ummah)and being all the adjectives you described above.

I remind you that I am free to post what I wish on my site just as Cordoba Academy is free to hire & promote those they feel have a legit point of view.

We DO know who the poster is and he and they will tell you that is Abu Najm. I remind you not to get into Brelvi/Haqqani/Deobandi issues as you are new to the Deen and I respect that. The postition that the Wahabia have broken from ijmah is clear and thus our Jammat holds them to be deviants.
The name of Allah swt is al-Wahab and w/o the al- IS NOT the name of Allah and w/o the niyah it is not. Yusuf Estes speaks well on the topic, unfortunately his Arabic sucks as does his understanding of Ahlus Sunnah. Just as an Ashari is a follower of Abu Hasan al Ashari a follower of MAW is a Wahabi. Barek Allah feek for the nasiha. I have a good Sufi Sheikh here and Tableegh may Allah bless them is not my culture or direction. I prefer Darul Uloom and as I stated before if Mufti Desai would tell me not to warn of those that mock them I would stop.FULL STOP! I feel more comfortable taking nasiha with those who post under their real name like Sheikh Desai. (and that was not meant to be an insult)I am curious why you keep mentioning Jaamat Tabligh as the answer to all problems? I would never suggest for example an African American Ashari/Shafi/Rifiai that are busy giving daily daroos to the Muslim African/American native community here to make kharooj. That is my advice.
