@rqsnnt
brother, Before, I used to sift teachers/scholars with this criterion, I can say. If they are not shia, brelvi or some deviant. But when I asked here about some brother/teacher (before this thread) and got to know about him which made some sense then I wanted to scrutinize whom I listen to and appreciate their work.BUT .... Never knew how badly we’ve been gashed. so it means every single Muslim is suppose to study this whole prepared cluster and then follow that way in case someone don't want to be a conformist.This is so difficult and will engulf a long timespent I think, after then one can live a normal life May Allah help us all.ameen. |

Walikom Assalam. I do not know you well, so I wont know if you are BLIND or not. If you agree with Mr. Hanifa's opinions and conclusions from his effort , that is not being BLIND. BUT, when you do not verify anything and buy a system based on BRAND NAME or MARKET POPULARITY, that is being a BLIND SHEEP. As you have stated, you are learning and praying to God , I do the same to. When according to "other schools of thought" my Salat is nullified, how do I simply call them "school of thought" ? It may not be another sect, but it is pretty close. After all, all my salat are useless if they are right, and all their salats are useless if I am right. Unless ofcourse if you believe that no matter what you do , following their opinion will earn you a place in Paradise. As a student, I do realize how difficult it is for a traditional muslim to practice Islam without a Fiqh. It is so IMMENSELY difficult that one has to stop studying or become a scholar, there is simply no middle zone. Having said that, I know that all of you have love for God in your hearts, you believe in Him, you believe in the angels, you believe in his kitaab, you believe in the last day, you believe in his messengers, regardless of our differences, you are my brothers/sisters in deen. @Nomadic Salamun alaikum, You made lots of assumptions there about my education/knowledge on deen. You made awful remarks about me . Your words were very angry. It does not suit a follower of Muhammad, the man known for unitiy and peace, to be this harsh. If you have problems with my "username", why not ask me first instead of assuming I am devil incarnate and then cursing me ? If misbehaving and name calling is your deen, then let me invite you to Islam. It is indeed a peaceful system/deen. Peace be on you ---------------------- Student of Allah |

@Student of Allah
walaykom assalam. Brother, I ain't hankering to learn to reject some or all madhhabs. I just want to pray the way Mohammad s.a.w has prayed infact, wanted to do Rafa yaden for just once in my life... which I can't. What if Mohammad s.a.w asks me on the day of judgement: you did not say salah, the way I said, just because you were follower of some schools of thought. God prevent us. This is confusion regarding salah I am been exposed to, which conveys, I am in fog regarding other rulings. But, I can't even study all schools of thought, still I can try In shaa Allah. Allah shows them the ways who wants to walk towards Him and whom He wants to see. May Allah show us the right Path.ameen. |
